CIW 1D0-435 candidate should be a CIW Certified Instructor and Master CIW Enterprise Developer. Candidates taking the JavaScript Fundamentals exam should know how to use the features of the JavaScript language and design client-side, platform-independent solutions. They should also know how to write JavaScript programs, script for the JavaScript object model, control program flow, validate forms, animate images, target frames, and create cookies.
The exam includes a random selection of 50 items. The examination period is 75 minutes. Candidates should correctly answer at least 38 of the 50 scored questions to achieve a total score of 75% or greater.
The CIW Perl Fundamentals exam tests candidates' language fundamentals and syntax of the Perl language for Web application development. There are 50 items in the exam, and time is limited in 75 minutes. The passing score is a total score of 75% or higher.

The CIW Application Developer exam focuses on the creation of interactive Web pages using client-side and server-side Web applications, and related component technology implementations. It requests candidates' knowledge and skills in building client-side and server-side Web applications using Rapid Application Development tools, and using component technologies to implement two-tier database connectivity solutions.
Fundamentals of CGI Using Perl and Dynamic Server Pages are the two modules included in the exam. Each of them has 30 items. The passing score is a total score of 75% or greater and at least 70% of the questions in each module.

There are six modules totally 50 items in the exam. They are:

Candidates who correctly answer 75% or more of the questions will pass the exam.
