CCIA for Virtualization Update

Post Time: May 09th,2010

To ensure that Citrix Engineers and Architects have the right breadth and depth of skills, Citrix CCEE and CCIA for Virtualization exams will deliver a new level of rigor. Citrix set out to do what no technology company has done yet - certify the real-world skills required to deliver end-to-end virtual computing, from the datacenter to the desktop.

Citrix is excited to announce that the final version of the CCEE for Virtualization exam will feature live environments delivered using Citrix virtualization technologies.  These certifications will raise the bar, delivering even higher levels of integrity and reputation to individuals that successfully complete them. Here's why:

Candidates taking the A15 Engineering Citrix Virtualization Solutions exam will interact with and configure live environments, requiring them to rely on their experiences, instincts and preferences to complete critical tasks –just as in real IT environments.

The follow up to the A15, A16 Architecting Citrix Virtualization Solutions will provide architects the chance to walk through their typical decision making process, make those decisions, and then justify them - just as if they were designing a real customer environment.

UPDATE on status of exam beta and release schedule (4/30/10):
Both the CCEE and CCIA exams have released to beta featuring simulations on April 30, 2010 to a full queue of pre-registered participants. The betas are expected to last 4-6 weeks, after which a final release of each exam will follow.

Exambible materials do not contain actual questions and answers from Microsoft's Certification Exams.
